We are seeking an experienced, hands on
**Roadhouse Manager / Management Couple** for this busy off the grid Roadhouse located in the rugged Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Only a few hours drive from some of the most desired tourist destinations in Australia such as Coral Bay, Exmouth and Karijini, this is an ideal location to live and work.

The roadhouse is fully self sufficient catering to passing trucks and visitors travelling through the region from all over the world. The property features onsite accommodation, campground, retail outlet, bar, dining and fuel operations.

This position will suit an experienced, hands on remote area manager / management couple who enjoy working alongside their team to offer excellence in customer service and provide a welcoming environment for those visiting the property.

The role includes working hands on across all departments as part of the small onsite team. A training period under current management will ensure a smooth handover.

The Pilbara offers the most breath-taking sunrises and sunsets, clear star filled skies and a peaceful, laid back lifestyle.

**Package**:

- $160,000 Salary Neg-Management Couple
- Free Accommodation & Meals

**Duties**:

- Day to day management of a busy remote area roadhouse in a hands on capacity covering onsite accommodation, retail outlet, restaurant, bar, fuel outlets, camp ground
- Overseeing & working across all departments covering kitchen, retail, food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance
- Hands on front counter work
- Manage, mentor and train a small team of staff of all nationalities
- Processing of staff time sheets and rosters
- General uploading of invoices, checking off stock arrivals, pricing of stock
- Accommodation reservations, guest arrivals and departures through RMS
- Counting and balancing of tills, general banking and administration procedures
- Monitor fuel levels / fuel dips
- Ensuring safe environment for staff and guests
- Open / close of venue procedures
- Offer excellence in customer service
- Report to offsite owners and offer regular updates in relation to site operations
- Other duties as required
- Willing to live and work in a remote destination
- Ability to lead a small team of staff
- Lead by example, working side by side as part of the team
- Have a positive, upbeat and can do management approach
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Generators & bores highly desired
- Hold or willing to obtain a WA Approved Managers License for Management of Licensed Premises
- Hold or obtain prior to offer a National Police Clearance
- Be willing to commit to a minimum 12+ months
