We are looking for a Finance Analyst - Supply Chain to join our Western Sydney Distribution Centre in Arndell Park. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with a possibility to extend or convert to permanent.

In this role, you will provide support and expertise in Supply Chain budgeting, accounting, and analysis. Undertake complex and critical research, interpret the results of analysis, and provide alternatives / recommendations for further consideration.

**A day in the life
Reporting to the Supply Chain Controller, key responsibilities include:

- Assist in preparing budgets for Supply Chain activities (transportation, warehousing etc); including the build-up of the various simulation phases together with the Supply Chain teams and Warehouse Management team.
- Performance analysis and reporting of actuals vs forecasts across supply chain activities and fixed overheads; ensure transparency, accuracy and timeliness of this process.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and support analysis in relation to performance tracking of Supply chain costs / savings initiatives, including labour productivity analysis, transportation cost analysis by lanes, outside storage analysis etc.
- Bringing ownership / accountability of the costs and drive the desired financial outcomes
- Follow up and monitor progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed by promoting ownership of data at source.
- Contribute to Benchmarking exercises, where required.
- Perform validation of savings initiatives and perform post implementation reviews.
- Post relevant journals for Supply Chain activities.

**What will make you successful

- You will ideally be degree qualified in finance and have at least 3 years’ experience in Accounting or Costing, preferably within Supply Chain operations.
- You will have strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Have advanced Excel skills. Experience working with SAP Finance module are preferred.
- You will possess outstanding communication skills and have the flexibility to adapt your style to suit your audience.
