Overview:
The Demand & Inventory Planner, ANZ/Korea plays a highly visible and essential role within the Supply Chain Operations in CORDIS. Levering on analytics, marketing and sales data, the Demand & Inventory Planner is expected to effectively estimate future product demands and ensure effective short-term replenishment and long-term supply planning across the CORDIS portfolio for ANZ.

This position is based in Sydney and reports to the Head of Supply Chain, and will work closely with the global supply chain and regional teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with internal and external stakeholders on demand forecast and facilitate the consensus meeting.
- Lead & drive the Demand Forecasting Process and develop Sell-in forecasts in alignment with the demand forecast as well as the agreed safety stock cover in each sales channel.
- Monitor actual sales versus forecasts/budgets and highlight trends to the management to initiate appropriate commercial action.
- Manage back-order communication with local commercial team and escalation to global supply team, also to find out the root cause for back-order items and implement corrective actions
- Identify Sell-out/Sell-in plan risks and opportunities and develops scenario plans and share with required stakeholders for optimum result.
- Responsible for the Finished Goods Supply/Inventory Planning process. Develop accurate supply plans to ensure that the inventory is maintained at the optimum level.
- Communicate supply plans to supply source and coordinate with upstream supply teams for timely execution.
- Maintain master-data including the planning parameters as appropriate
- Set and maintain appropriate inventory norms and ensure that inventory remains within norms through accurate and agile planning.
- Ensure finished goods inventory is within acceptable level and provide SLOBs (Slow-moving/Obsolete stock) reports to Sales and Marketing Teams and develop SLOBs reduction plans
- Analyse stock movement and aging stock and highlight actions to be taken by respective teams
- Manage allocation products execution with global supply planning.
- Track and report consignment levels and support customer replenishment process. Accountable for reducing annual write-off of expired goods and identifying process improvements.
- Manage product roll overs and end of life planning to appropriately balance availability and inventory risks, including NPI, obsolete product phase out and SKU rationalization.
- Manage requests to and from LSP and information flow back to sales/marketing.

Qualifications:
**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or Advanced Degree in related field preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience in inventory planning and management, data analysis and customer service.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, with strong eye for business and consumer focus.
- Able to remain focused and work efficiently under pressure while handling multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners, across different operating levels.
- Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong sense of urgency to resolve issues.
- Strong knowledge of excel (advanced level) preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP, IBP, Tableau, JDE preferred.
- Fluent English. Additional language(s) a plus
- Approximately 10% travel
