Demand Planner

Right now, we have an excellent opportunity for **a Demand Planner** to join our Supply Chain Team. in this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the baseline and promotional planning forecast inputs from the National Sales, Account and Category Management teams in order to develop an SKU by state split over a 24-month horizon.

You will be the first point of reference in relation to short term demand changes and the allocation of stock in short supply and be the foundation for subsequent production, procurement and deployment plans whilst assisting in the short-term development of Supply Plans that support our commercial forecast.

You will provide analysis and reporting of results and opportunities for process improvement, leading and participating in key forums within the S&OP cycle is also essentials, as well as working with the Supply Planner in their function to meet key CFR and Inventory targets.

**You’ll also have the opportunity to**:

- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to build robust customer demand plans underpinned by thorough analysis, clear R&Os and capture of Demand Drivers.
- Deliver accurate volume demand forecast as a key input into the Integrated Business Planning Process: based on documented assumptions/analysis across the planning horizon for the relevant product and customer hierarchy.
- Perform root cause analysis for forecast variance and support sales and marketing in creating innovation plan (volumes) based on assumptions together with end of life-cycle planning.
- Facilitate Customer Demand review session as part of IBP process and drive improved forecast quality to support the business to meet customer service expectations.
- Ensure volumes, assumptions and actions are shared and agreed and attend and contribute to other meetings through S&OP cycle (Supply Review, MBR) where necessary. Work with Supply Planner to manage inventory targets and CFR.
- Meet both inventory and customer service targets - drivers of CCC/FCF and highlight areas of risk to the annual and monthly P&L.
- Manage and communicate mitigation plans which balances supply - inventory, service and cost - ensuring the best action implemented.

**About You**:

You are someone that is in a similar capacity role and will bring forward solid experience (3+ years) in Demand Planning/Statistical forecasting. You have knowledge and experience with SAP/APO-SNP together with using third party tools (Excel, Power Bi, Tableau, Prevail, SAP).

You have demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams - you are able to manage multiple stakeholders cross functionally, and are able to articulate and identify business priorities, drivers, risks and opportunities.

You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart in everything that we, you will need to have sound customer liaison skills, coupled with influencing and negotiation skills.
