Join a globally recognised brand as their Demand Planner, leading the S&OP process for the business in a permanent role in their team based in Sydney.

**Your new role**

In your new role as Demand Planner, you’ll become a key player in the sales and operations planning process for the business, ensuring alignment between the commercial and supply chain functions of the business via:

- Management of demand forecasting and liaison with product supply teams, striving for increased forecast accuracy through statistical analysis and scrutiny of historical sales trends.
- Inventory control across the national distribution network, with a focus on accuracy and safety stock in line with the overall financial goals of the business.
- Collaboration with key stakeholders in the wider S&OP function both domestically and across the global supply chain network with the ultimate goal of creating a coherent supply chain and delivering an optimised customer experience.
- Ownership and improvement of key performance metrics across forecast accuracy, inventory obsolescence, operational costs, and new product introduction.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management and S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical & forecasting skills with a data-driven approach and emphasis on accuracy, paired with high-level proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track-record of building successful relationships across multiple business units including sales, finance, and operations.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
