**About the Role**
Leverage your deep understanding of educational literacy, curriculum design, and evidence-based pedagogical principles to craft evidence based and engaging English learning resources. You will bring your capacity to write effective, efficient and engaging learning materials to support teachers. Your role will encompass the creation of comprehensive, evidence-based lesson plans, supplementary resources, and assessments that are both intellectually stimulating and aligned with contemporary educational research.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing evidence-based English lesson plans aligned with the Primary English Victorian Curriculum 2.0, including support resources and assessments.
- Ensuring resource quality, including style, accessibility, and copyright compliance, through proofreading, editing, and addressing feedback.
- Exceptional attention to detail and alignment with quality assurance standards.

**Who We Are Looking For**
You are a highly motivated and passionate educator with a deep understanding of contemporary primary English teaching and learning. Your ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, coupled with a proven track record of implementing innovative teaching strategies is invaluable. Possessing a strong grasp of how students learn best, particularly in the context of structured literacy and explicit teaching methods, you demonstrate a focus on phonics, grammar, and oral language skills. Your adaptability in leveraging cloud-based platforms and the Microsoft suite, combined with your experience in engaging with professional development workshops further enhance your contributions to this role.

You also have:

- Knowledge of contemporary theoretical and policy debates and practice within the Primary English.
- Understanding of evidence-based, contemporary practice in structured literacy and explicit instruction
- Knowledge of Victoria 2.0 Primary English Curriculum and Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0
- Demonstrated capacity to work to deadlines and manage iterative feedback cycles
- Experience teaching in primary schools in Australia
