And the support to grow and explore your potential. **THE ROLE** **The Engineering Manager leads the Asset Services Engineering team (ASET), which delivers Development, Stay in Business (SIB), Brownfields, Exploration, Studies and Trials projects on behalf of the operated Assets. The ASET is multidisciplinary engineering team that includes project and package engineers, to provide full project delivery from Assess/Select through to Detailed Design, as well as construction and commissioning support. The ASET contain senior electrical, mechanical, civil, process engineersand project engineers.** **The role exists to support the business’ growth and development strategy and to deliver projects that add value through production, de-bottlenecking, improved reliability and decarbonisation, as well as ensuring asset integrity and process safety.** **Your responsibilities will include;** - Manage a multi-disciplinary engineering and projects team of >**20 technical specialists**, including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, and Civil engineers, Project and Package engineers, Document Control and Drafting - Responsible for engineering associated with Development projects **(up to $500M/yr) **from FEED through to commissioning and handover to the Assets - Responsible for engineering associated with SIB, Brownfields, Exploration, Restoration, Studies and Trials projects (>**$100M/yr)**: - Provide leadership in HSE and Process Safety through industry forums, sharing learnings, active collaboration with technical authorities in internal standards development - Mentoring, coaching and developing team members so they attain high levels of performance and engagement and realise their professional goals - Process Owner for Integrated Gas core process Deliver Projects - Reporting to the APLNG (and Origin as required) on project delivering and HSE/process safety aspects of loss of containment or other cross asset related process safety risk. **IS THIS YOU?** **You’ll need to be driven, energetic and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to be self-motivated and lead team collaboration. You will be knowledgeable across project management and ready to support new ways of working.** **To be considered for this role you will have;** - Extensive engineering experience in a relevant discipline with deep project management experience - Proven capability to lead large technical teams - Project commerical experience in negoiating and agreeing commerical structures for project development and execution - RPEQ (Registered Profesional Engineer Queenland) - Highly analytical with superior problem-solving skills - Experience in the energy and/or oil & gas sectors - Ability to lead change, new ways of working and process improvement **Origin - Where good change happens** At Origin, we’re powered by people who believe in creating collective change.
