Fraser Rise, Australia WeKare Disability Services Full time

**WeKare Disability Support Group** is seeking several staff to support our client in a SDA located in Fraiser rise.

Ideally workers would be rostered for shifts across available facilities to work with a variety of participants. Shifts are available on a 24hr/day 7 day roster at the facilities.

The facilities have long-term tenants, and occasionally serve as emergency accommodation for participants in crisis. Therefore, experienced workers who posses skills working with:

- challenging behaviours.
- alcohol and drug affected participants.
- participants who have suffered past abuses.

would be very highly regarded, however WeKare will provide the appropriate training as needed to support any resident participants.

You will work under direct supervision of house supervisors and in-turn under WeKare's National Extended Care & Accommodation Liaison Officer.

Mandatory documentation is required for employees of NDIS providers.

100 points of ID (including a valid driver’s licence).

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Current National Police Check (specifying unsupervised with vulnerable persons)

Current CPR and First Aid Certification

Infection Control in the Workplace Certification

NDIS Worker Orientation Certification

Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate (including booster dose).

Workers will be required to support participant tenants to live as independently as possible within the parameters of their plan arrangements and behavioural guidelines. Assist participants to achieve their plan goals and participate in the community.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
