About the Role

Your role may involve providing assistance with all aspects of daily living including personal care, peg feeding, assistance with household tasks and meaningful engagement within their home and community environments.

About You

If you are passionate about supporting people to manage their own lifestyles and live the life they choose, we would like to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification and a minimum of 6mths experience in the sector
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid training
- Manual Handling training (or willing to obtain)
- International Police check (if applicable)
- Access to a car and driver’s licence
- A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation evidence required
- Demonstrated, proven experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments
- Proven can do, positive and willing attitude
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Friendly disposition and engaging manner
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts

- Monday 9:30am - 1:30pm
- Tuesday 10am-2pm
- Wednesday 9:30am - 1:30pm
- Thursday 10am-2pm
- Friday 10am-2pm

- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: IHIGHTON / GEELONG VIC

Pay: $23.28 - $30.00 per hour
