**The Opportunity**
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join the Rail Commissioner Workforce section as a Rail Safety Worker Compliance Officer. In this important role, you’ll help manage the systems that support compliance with rail safety laws and ensure the safe and efficient operation of South Australia’s mass transit services.

You’ll coordinate key processes such as the distribution of Rail Industry Worker (RIW) cards, support the health assessments program, and maintain accurate compliance data. You’ll also play a part in reporting and data management to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

**About You**
You’re a detail-oriented, reliable professional who takes pride in accuracy and service. You’re comfortable working with data, have great communication skills, and can confidently coordinate with colleagues and external partners.

You enjoy solving problems, keeping things organised, and learning how your work contributes to a bigger picture. Experience in administration, compliance, or working within structured programs will be well regarded.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary up to 12 months at 0.8 FTE

**Remuneration**
ASO3 - $67,589 to $72,033 pa + superannuation.
