**The Opportunity**

We are actively seeking an experienced **Digital Engineering Coordinator** to join our team at the KBR South Australia office. In this role, you will become an integral part of our rapidly expanding **Digital Engineering** team, contributing to a range of Digitally Delivered projects.

As the Digital Engineering Coordinator, you will report to the National Digital Engineering Lead based in South Australia. Your primary focus will be on administering and developing digital engineering protocols within our National Digital Engineering Team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your coordination and technical skills while charting a long-term career path with KBR.

Upon joining our team in South Australia, you will embark on a journey across a diverse range of large-scale projects in areas such as Buildings and Defence, Road Infrastructure, and Rail Projects throughout Australia. You will take a leading role in shaping project strategies, implementing DE methodologies and technologies, and driving digital change. Your objective is to ensure that both projects and KBR are compliant with ISO 19650 and state-based standards while also accommodating local project requirements.

The Digital Engineering Coordinator role is fundamentally a ‘user level’ practitioner of software (2D to 8D) and will demonstrate extensive understanding across multiple software stacks of the major suppliers including understanding how to integrate the stacks into viable delivery solutions for projects. Additionally, you will provide support for project-level BIM activities in alignment with the National Digital Engineering team objectives and project discipline BIM coordinators.

**Who are you?**

As the Digital Engineering Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

- Contributing significantly to collaboration by federating and sharing DE models with project teams.
- Managing the validation, acceptance, and upkeep of digital information within federated DE delivery models across projects.
- Federating and reviewing design Information Models, conducting Quality Assurance checks, clash detection and mitigation, and risk control processes.
- Generating necessary information for reports, model production, and delivery.
- Assisting in coordinating design reviews based on DE models and planning with project teams.
- Explaining and executing projects within an ISO19650 certified environment.
- Assisting with the implementation of digital engineering technical initiatives.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of KBR's National Digital Engineering capability.

**Key technical skills and experience required.**
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar experience
- Previous consulting/design/technical experience in infrastructure field (approximately 2+ years, or a level of experience proven as comparable)
- Demonstrated comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge in DE
- Extensive understanding of ISO19650
- Expert in production of working DEEP and Systems integration to ensure DE requirements are integrated to project delivery
- Expert level configuration of DE coordination/review software stack
- Understanding of Scripting, Parametric design required including modelling and cloud technology
- Expert in integration of file formats, configuration, grid systems, point cloud integration and model manipulation
- Expert in version capabilities of software
- Expert in integration of software with ProjectWise and BIM360 platforms
- Can provide training material and present to stakeholders and project teams.
- Must be able to lead design integration meetings (IDR/IDC) on projects at high level
- Must demonstrate understanding of engineering design drawing types and delivery methodology
- Understanding of commercials, programmes and delivery sequencing
- Expert understanding in the construction, handover software solutions
- Expertise in workflow coordination between disciplines
- Deep understanding of time domain for engineering DE delivery and how this integrates to the overarching programme, Delivery system
- Understanding of commercial implications and licences within DE and BIM
- Understands Software procurement, risk assessment, Cost models, User requirements
- Understanding of engineering principals
- Expert in understanding OIR, EIR and how this integrates to Systems Engineering and Safety cases.
- Expert in classifications for assets, and how this integrates to the design models and delivery
