**What You Will Be Doing**

The manager will liaise with physician and nursing staff of the hospital as well as the Ethics Committee, other research bodies, cancer groups, pharmaceutical companies, collaborative and paramedical personnel. There will be an emphasis on promoting the understanding of clinical trials in the clinical community, and the trials which are open for participation.

The Manager will monitor and manage the financial performance of the Research Unit including timely and proactive management of invoicing.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health Science or Research Management (as well as relevant, registration where applicable to professional qualification)
- Demonstrated experience and skills in managing the business of a clinical trials unit
- Research experience including awareness of TGA, ICH-GCP Guidelines and relevant regulatory/statutory guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and establish clinical trial quotes and budgets
- Demonstrate capability to strategically lead a team, ensuring high quality clinical governance and risk management frameworks are developed and maintained
- Excellent computer skills
- Proven time and workload management skills
