What You Will Be Doing

Take the next step in your career in this fantastic leadership opportunity. In this role you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to support the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence based high quality patient centred care.

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is a valued member of the leadership team at Peninsula Health, committed to upholding Peninsula Health's values and meeting organisational goals. The ANUM supports the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and when required acts in their role to provide effective leadership and management of the Unit.

This is a limited term Night Duty role until February 2026 working 70 hours per fortnight.

Position Description

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Recent Acute nursing experience in either Medical, Rehabilitation, Acute Care of the Elderly
• Able to demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to signs of the "deteriorating patient."
• Identifies and understands the long-term impact of particular courses of action on the organisation's objectives
• Experience in a leadership or management role
