About the role:
The Quality Officer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance to the quality management system. Inspecting products/equipment, recording, and analysing results during product manufacturing. This includes creating and reviewing manufacturing data reports, non-conformance reports and Inspection test plans as required. Additionally, this role reviews and assesses suppliers to ensure products and services meet required quality standards.

This is a one year fixed-term full-time role.

What you’ll bring:

- Relevant trade qualifications and manufacturing experience.
- Quality inspection and reporting experience in a manufacturing or mining environment.
- Understanding or experience with metal fabrication and Non-Destructive Testing processes.
- Ability to interpret drawings and reports to provide quality guidance to stakeholders.
- Efficiency using Quality administration and compliance systems.
- Ability to show continual and visible improvement results in the Quality Management System.
- Ability to positively work well in a team & demonstrate proactive cross-functional teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Intermediate level of skills in the Microsoft Office package including Excel and Word.
- Stakeholder service by meeting internal & external stakeholder requirements within reason.
- Open communication by demonstrating respect, integrity, openness and honestly.
