Role Overview:Construction Sciences are looking for a Quality Officer to join our WA business. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting and maintaining quality standards across our operations statewide.

Your focus will be on ensuring our quality systems and processes are well-integrated, maintained, and supported, allowing us to consistently deliver services to the highest technical and industry standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience who's ready to take the next step and transition into a quality-focused career path.  

The role is based in either Perth or Bunbury and requires travel within WA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support laboratories in maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing accreditation, certification, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Assist Laboratories with quality matters as established by contract requirements, regulatory requirements and company quality policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing reports and quality-related communications for internal stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support during non-conformances, helping teams with corrective and preventive actions
  • Intrastate travel to laboratories to support and achieve quality objectives

Skills, Competencies and Experience:

  • Hands-on Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with staff and clients in a quality-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or higher (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
