System Integrations Lead

**Role purpose**

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- The design and development of the systems-to-system interfaces, data flows, APIs, and integration middleware.
- Working with the technical architect, technical analysts and.NET and database development team to create a high-level design of an end-to-end integration solution by:

- Leading and assisting the development team in building integrations.
- Development, unit testing and integration activities, including creation of software code, database and other scripts.
- Performing code reviews of junior team members.
- Ensuring that Security is at the forefront of the design and implementation of these integrations
- Analysis and design of integrations between internal and external platforms with our Digital Services Framework (DSF) which is built on Azure Service Fabric.
- Validate that the integration solution and integration architecture designs utilise the integration architecture components appropriately.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members in the development of IT solutions
- Work within a team of developers assisting in:

- time estimates
- task allocations
- problem solving
- To strive for continuous improvement of both technical and business knowledge
- Provision of regular feedback, mentoring, coaching and assistance to the team’s development needs
- To assist with the development of new team standards, methodologies and processes to increase both the quality and efficiency of the development work
- Ensure all assigned work is delivered within agreed timeframes and quality parameters, in accordance with stakeholder expectations
- Build productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders and other cross-functional team members
- Provide input to business processes in order to provide commercially sound solutions
- Generates innovative solutions to problems and seeks ways to improve business services and processes
- Understands the strategic objectives of Link Group and how IT Solutions will support the achievement of these

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or the equivalent in software development work experience
- 10+ years’ experience in IT
- Extensive experience at least 5 + years in in writing software with C#.Net,.NET CORE / WebAPI
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Experience in a software development role working on complex, large scale, multi system messaged based integration projects including:

- Analysing interface specifications and integration business rules.
- Designing, documenting and reviewing message specifications.
- Expert level skills with architecture drawing tools such as MS Viso.
- Experience and skills in producing accurate, complete and concise documentation.
- Experience in writing software with C#.Net,.NET CORE / WebAPI.
- Experience with an Object Relational Mapping framework such as Entity Framework.
- Experience with modern version control systems such as Git.
- Experience in writing unit Tests.
- The ability to work with multiple project stakeholders (technical and business) to gather and document detailed integration business requirements via workshops and working groups and formulate compatible integration designs.
- Experience implementing enterprise integration architectures and designing integration solutions.
- Ability to lead integration design activities and documentation.
- The ability to develop and provide input into the design, planning and management of data conversion processes.
- The ability to proactively identify and communicate process improvement opportunities related to information flows, processes and standards to be considered in the design of future state integration solutions.
