APG Workforce are currently looking for a Management Systems Lead - Quality & Assurance for a 6-month contract Government Sector based in Parramatta.

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Pay Rate**: $850 - $950 per day + Super

**End Date: 6 Months** + possible extension

**Pay Rate: Parramatta + WFH**

**Primary purpose of the role**
Lead the development of an enterprise-wide Quality Management System (QMS) consistent with best practice, relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements to support Sydney Water in achieving its strategic outcomes. Ensure integration of the QMS management system into the One Management System or 1MS to enhance user experience.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to ensure effective implementation of the QMS. Lead ongoing effective implementation of integrated assurance in Sydney Water.

**Key accountabilities**
- Lead the development of an enterprise-wide Quality Management System (QMS) consistent with ISO 9001 standard, regulatory requirements and best practice to support the achievement of Sydney Water’s strategic outcomes.
- Ensure integration and harmonisation of the QMS with Sydney Water’s One Management System (1MS) and enterprise process structure.
- Working closely with the stakeholders, drive implementation of the QMS to ensure it provides substantially effective controls against the relevant enterprise risks and quality objectives.
- Provide specialist QMS advice, training and awareness across the organisation.
- Monitor QMS controlled documents to ensure they remain rationalised, current and fit for purpose. Coordinate and support the document owners to conduct regular reviews.
- Ensure QMS requirements are embedded in key processes across the enterprise.
- Ensure ongoing certification of the QMS by ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and supporting 3rd party surveillance and certification audits.
- Lead and coordinate effective implementation of Sydney Water’s integrated assurance model. Deliver 2nd Line of Assurance (2LOA) of the QMS.
- Monitor and analyse QMS performance data generated from assurance, incident investigations, management reviews, etc to provide trends and actionable insights.
- Maintain an expert level of knowledge of quality management through technical scanning, networks and professional development.
- Facilitate continual improvement of the QMS and deliver improvement initiatives in partnership with relevant stakeholders

**Qualifications, Licenses and Certificates**
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, business or a related discipline or experience deemed equivalent
- Lead auditor or the ability to gain lead auditor qualifications

**Experience and Skills**

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated ability to partner and influence others to achieve organisations strategic outcomes
- Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory environment that applies to Sydney Water
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels
- Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to manage competing requirements and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume work environment
- Ability to evaluate and improve the performance of management systems and processes in relation to meeting business objectives and priorities.

**Experience**:

- 5 years’ experience in development, implementation and continual improvement of management systems or Integrated Management System in a large and complex organisation
- 3 years’ experience in designing and executing integrated assurance programs
- Demonstrated experience analysing performance and developing initiatives to improve business process performance
- Experience in working with stakeholders at all levels to implement change and achieve business outcomes for the organisation
- Demonstrated experience in development and delivery of training and uplifting capability within the business
