Trainee Asphalt Plant Batcher

We are currently seeking a Trainee Asphalt Plant Batcher to join our team in Tomago to assist with the day-to-day activities, planning and production of Asphalt.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Ensuring quality of asphalt product to specifications
Participate in risk management and hazard identification processes in conjunction with the SSO
Undertake site inspections for safety, quality, and environment
Order raw materials for production requirements
Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs and utilizing the docket despatch system
Day-to-day administration of the Asphalt Plant including stock control of raw materials
Mixing of the correct mix and allocating trucks to ensure the smooth operation for Colas and our customers
General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance
