Asphalt Production Supervisor

We are looking to appoint an experienced and self motivated Asphalt Production Supervisor to join our team in Tomago on a fulltime basis.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the Asphalt plant and associated subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the safety, health and environmental risks of our operations are minimised and the requirements of our projects are met.

**Key responsibilities for this position include**:
Daily production planning ,task delegation and performance monitoring
Overseeing production quality and ensuring specifications are met
Schedule repairs and maintenance of the asphalt plant and associated equipment
Mentoring and training of production crews, including conducting tool box meetings
Ensure the completion of all site reports including sales, load dockets, daily works, hazard identification
Ensure a safe workplace through compliance with WHS policies and procedures
Resolution of all quality and performance issues
Other duties as required

Min 3 years experience running an Asphalt Plant or similar
Solid knowledge of Asphalt production techniques
Strong ability to supervise and manage personnel
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
An understanding of emergency procedures
Ability to work out simple mathematical calculations
Solid Knowledge of the operation of machinery and / or plant

**Highly regarded Qualifications & Licences**:
Dangerous Goods Licence
Certificate III in Processed Minerals
HR licence
Front End Loader ticket
Forklift Licence
