**Your day to day**
If the words your friends would use to describe you are warm and welcoming and you love interacting with people then this might be the right role for you You'll be responsible for providing a warm welcome and fond farewell to our guests and managing their needs. You will need to ensure that each of our guests has an authentic Adelaide experience and that their stay is pleasant and memorable.
- Provide all guests with a warm, friendly, and professional welcome, greeting, and farewell.
- Ensures the driveway and hotel entrance is kept clean, tidy, and free of obstacles at all times.
- Assist guests in and out of taxis and other vehicles and remove baggage from vehicles
- Escort guests, with baggage, to the Front Desk for check-in
- Obtain taxis for guests and assist with all transportation requests
- Provide recognition to IHG One Rewards & Ambassador program members
- Monitor guests entering and exiting the hotel at all times and report any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour.
- Works closely with the team to ensure traffic flow and report any concerns to superiors.

**What we need from you**
As our next doorperson, you will be part of the Concierge team which has a major role in ensuring our guests have great things to say about InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Our goal is to turn our guests into ambassadors for our brand.

- Welcoming - You will genuinely love talking to people and helping them
- Excellent Communicator - Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Proactive - Look for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay
- Knowledgable - Be passionate about Adelaide and keen to share your knowledge with our guests
- Flexible - willing to work shifts, weekends and/or public holidays
