In this leadership position, you will provide strategic and operational direction to safeguard the highest quality standard of services are delivered
**About the Role**
- You will maintain and build relationships with key referrers such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers and Local Area Coordinators
- Lead Behaviour Support Practice and implementation of plans at the SIL property
- Provide proactive leadership, mentoring, coaching and support to the Work Force Team to ensure that staff are supported throughout the NDIS readiness and transition phase
- Be responsible for ensuring that all assets are maintained and meet quality and safety standards by liaising with Property Management and the Business Manager.
- Identify, assess and resolve problems using a customer-centred approach
- Motivate individuals and create a culture where people want to go the ‘extra mile’
- Practice leadership in team meetings, one on ones, modelling and coaching of staff
- Proactively train staff to ensure they continue to provide the highest standard of customer outcomes
- Responsibility for the SIL Participants onboarding process
**About you**
- A natural leader with a positive attitude, professional conduct, and commitment to provide quality outcomes and service delivery for staff, individuals with a disability and the community
- Have an understanding of legislative, contractual and internal policy, practice and reporting requirements in the NDIS sector
- Are self-motivated, well organised, and resourceful and possess a high level of integrity, passion, and reliability.
- An understanding of case management practices and principles.
- Well-developed communication (both oral and written) skills with the capacity to prepare reports and correspondence
- Committed to providing high-quality services to all people from diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
- Relevant qualifications within the Healthcare, Aged care or Disability care sectors.
