We are a 5-a-side football operator, with a $4million purpose-built all weather small sided football facility in Western Sydney.

**We are looking for a passionate, commercially aware Duty Manager who is a real football person to become part of an exciting team.**

Reporting to the Assistant manager, the Weekend Duty manager will play a key role in the management of the facility within the management team and in making our flagship branch an outstanding success.

Dedication is key, as is delivering the 'ultimate soccer experience' in a customer facing role. A positive attitude and huge amounts of enthusiasm are musts along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The job's a mixture of people management and office duties. You will also be responsible for managing and the delivery of some events.

Football is more than a game to us it's a way of life and we are looking for a like-minded person to join our team as Duty Manager.

**Essential**
- 12 months minimum experience working within the sports and leisure industry or within a similar role
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Must possess the ability to learn quickly and action tasks in a timely manner
- Saturday & Sunday availabilty

**Desirable**
- First aid qualified
- Hold a current referee qualification

**Additional info**

Due to the nature of the business, shifts will be varied across the weekends, and may include some weekday evenings.

Job Title: Weekend Duty Manager
Reports to: Assistant Manager

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To deliver the ultimate football experience to customers in an efficient and effective manner.
- Duty management of the entire facility and the management, training and development of staff.
- The position entails working flexible hours to provide management cover at all weekend times.
- To maintain management control of staff & various departments within the facility.
- To take on the role of being a key holder for the centre.
- To closely supervise theactivities of members of the reception and maintenance team.
- To manage the facility in line with the policies and procedures set down in the operations procedures manual.
- To handle cash management within the facility by implementing the security strategy to ensure that all staff are working in a safe and secure environment and that all cash within the facility is accurately recorded, reconciled and banked in line with the procedures set down in the operations manual.
- To be responsible for the overall maintenance and up-keep of the premises.
- To ensure that all facilities are kept and maintained to a high standard for the benefit of members.
- To undertake such other duties that may be necessary to the role

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $45.00 per hour
