**Beaumont&Beaumont **has been engaged by our client to recruit and APS5 equivalent Restorative Engagement Conference Officer to work within a Commonwealth Government Department in Canberra.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Arranging Restorative Engagement conferences by preparing and liaising with stakeholders ensuring they have appropriate, accurate and up-to-date information.
- Analysing information and identify potential risks to case manage participant’s engagement in the program.
- Managing data collection and record keeping of all interactions and communications while adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Tracking and monitoring progress of the Restorative Engagement Conference, assisting with complications that arise in the delivery of the program, ensuring clear and accurate information is advised for quick problem resolution.
- Reviewing sensitive and confronting material and provide support to colleagues to ensure staff wellbeing is maintained
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to recognise the audience and adjust their communication accordingly, recognising that some people they are dealing with have experienced trauma.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, set priorities and meet set timeframes, and
- Proven ability to manage a case load which includes complex issues, and achieve results, both individually and as part of a team.
This position will be offered for an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension.
