Our Infrastructure Delivery Group is growing In response to this steady growth, our team is looking for a Surveillance Officer (Structural) - Independent Verification, for the recently commenced Kangaroo Point Green Bridge project, to assist in providing the Independent Verifier’s construction surveillance obligations for the project during the design, construction and completion phases.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Detailing, scheduling, and monitoring of construction surveillance activities using a risk management approach.
- Working with the Independent Verifier site team in accordance with the contract and technical specification.
- Ensuring effective surveillance, documentation, and reporting of the project.
- Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports through support from the site team.

**For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience supervising Construction in the civil / structural infrastructure sector and preferably on bridges projects.
- Excellent project management skills & management of conflicting priorities.
- Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, open communication.
- Preferred experience in Independent Verification or a similar role.
- Ability to influence others, good negotiating skills.
