- **About the Role**
- We are seeking a dedicated **Wellbeing Officer **to join our dynamic **WHS team**. This **full time role** is responsible for staff wellbeing, injury management and supporting return to work for our people. This role is pivotal in enhancing health and wellbeing at IRT through innovative programmes, promotion and dedication to health and wellbeing aligned with organisational objectives, embedding a resilient health and safety culture within IRT. **Minimum of 2+ year experience** in injury management in workplace-based rehabilitation and assessments.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Wellbeing Officer will deliver operational advice across range of areas to coordinate early intervention services for both work-related and non-work related injury/illness to support our employees recover at work and includes
- Coordinate and facilitate injury management and recovery at work
- Notify, report and triage all incidents resulting in injury/illness to the relevant insurer
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to collect and collate all documentation required for the insurer and broker as required
- Support the team with wellbeing initiatives
- Travel as required

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Tertiary qualifications as an allied health professional or 2+ years industry experience
- Experience in return to work coordination, workers' compensation, and/or employee wellbeing programs
- Working knowledge and/or experience in a similar industry
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and guidelines and workers compensation legislation (NSW, ACT & QLD)
