**Job Description**:

- 9Now is at the heart of Nine’s purpose and values - to shape culture by sparking conversations, challenging perspectives, and entertaining our communities. 9Now brings people together by offering a destination for consumers around Australia to live stream or stream on demand their favourite programs anywhere, anytime, on the device of their choosing._
- The 9Now Programming and Operations team is responsible for the programming, publishing, distributing and optimising of live and on demand content on 9Now._

**Role responsibilities**
- Manages the Live Operations team working on the Australian Open, Summer Olympic Games and exclusive 9Now Sporting and News events.
- Tasked with innovating and managing Live to VOD operational workflows across Programming Operations and Sports Digital teams.
- Assists to define Sports Live to VOD operational and publishing requirements & briefing into Product and Technology teams
- Stakeholder management with internal Sport EPs + sports content partners to capture content and feed delivery requirements.
- Responsible for staffing and rostering casual resources for Sporting tournaments and live events.
- Writing guidelines and training materials for Live Operations staff.
- Overseeing, training, developing and advising Live Operations team members
- Key liaison with Host Broadcasters and wider programming Operations to capture programming schedule, technical requirements and content availability.
- Briefing & collaborating with Broadcast Communications teams and Master control rooms for upcoming events, requirements and workflows.
- Co-ordinates the Live event testing with internal teams and third parties
- Oversees live event scheduling according to Sports roadmap & content strategy

**Qualifications**:
**Essential qualifications, experience & skills**
- Be available to work weekends and nights when required.
- Have Experience in Live Broadcast and/or Live streaming operations
- Drive innovation and improvement workflows and efficiency in live operations and streaming.
- Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, methodical decision making and responsive work ethic
- Excellent Time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, processes and timelines.
- A self starter and positive team motivator
- An ability to manage a fast-paced workload
- A growth mindset, a passion for operations, media and stays up-to-date with industry trends.
