Chippendale, Australia Toby’s Estate Full time

**About us**:
The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997 in the gritty streets of Woolloomooloo, where passion and a beat-up coffee roaster in Mum's garage set us on a wild adventure. Fast forward 26 years, we're an energetic team of coffee enthusiasts and a merry band of misfits united by a love for doing amazing things and pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.

At Toby’s Estate, you'll immerse yourself in a brand with a rich history and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Enjoy flexible working arrangements, recharge leave, and, of course, all the coffee you can drink.

**Why join us as our Inventory Planning Manager?**

Do you have a few years of inventory planning behind you and eager to take the next step in your career? Do you have experience working with national and international supply chains, navigating complex forecasts, and ensuring every operational detail is accounted for? If you're passionate about working in a FMCG and the coffee industry, driven to lead supplier relationships and a small team, this is your opportunity to make your mark.

As our Inventory Planning Manager, you’ll oversee the supply and planning of key products—from beans to packaging and accessories. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, including our production and operations teams, Green Bean Buyer, and Procurement Manager, you'll ensure smooth production schedules, efficient stock management, and excellent supplier performance.

In this role, your day-to-day will include:

- Managing forecast requirements for coffee, tea, equipment, packaging, and accessories, ensuring production and sales run seamlessly.
- Overseeing production scheduling to minimise out-of-stock situations across a diverse product range.
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships, focusing on both partnerships and cost-saving opportunities while enhancing service levels.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to introduce new products, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier adjustments.
- Providing critical inventory insights and data analysis to drive informed decision-making, keeping us ahead of market trends and business demands.

**Is this you?**

Recognised as an expert in inventory planning, you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for staying ahead of the curve. You excel at managing complex forecasts, turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and keep inventory always on point. Whether negotiating supplier contracts, partnering with Procurement to mitigate risks, or finding innovative ways to save, you leave nothing to chance.

Your style is hands-on, approachable, and proactive - qualities your referees will undoubtedly highlight. You’re adept at planning for every scenario—Plan A, B, and C—ensuring the business is prepared for any contingency. Dynamic and driven, you easily shift between being a coach and a challenger, solving problems with critical thinking and creative solutions. Your ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers solidifies your reputation as a trusted partner. Committed to mentoring your team and fostering collaboration, you're focused on driving results that help the business thrive.

While experience is important, it’s your capability and attitude that will truly set you apart—and we’ll be evaluating both throughout the recruitment process.

Please, no agencies.
