Bar Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable Bar Supervisor to assist our team in managing one of Sydney's most iconic and vibrant live music venues, The Lansdowne Hotel, known for its energetic atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing gigs.

As a Bar Supervisor at The Lansdowne Hotel, you will lead a friendly and skilled team, ensuring exceptional customer service. You will report to the Bar Manager and oversee daily bar operations. This key role contributes to delivering an outstanding guest experience and maintaining momentum in one of Sydney's top late-night venues.

Responsibilities:

• Support the venue management team.

• Supervise and lead bartenders across shifts, managing timesheets, breaks, schedules, and training.

• Daily liaison with Management, Security, Housekeeping, Marketing, contractors, and providers.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth service.

• Open/close the bar and manage restaurant service.

• Supervise bar procedures, policies, and compliance.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, handling inventory, stocktakes, cocktail prep, garnish, and glassware.

• Organize daily restaurant bookings.

• Assist in planning weekly gigs, special events, and functions.

• Assist with reporting, invoicing, ordering, deliveries, wastage, and quality control.

• Contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

About You:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality.

• Strong communication skills with patrons and colleagues.

• A practical, hands-on approach.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Extensive knowledge of beverages, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and mixology.

• Valid NSW RSA Competency Card.

• A passion for hospitality and customer service.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
