Fantastic WA State Government opportunity as an Accounts Payable Officer.
**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for an Accounts Payable Officer. It is a busy team, therefore previous experience in an AP role is essential.
The office is based in East Perth and located close to public transport. This is a temporary assignment role of 6 months with extension possibilities.
We require you to be immediately available and ready to begin work ASAP.
**Your new role**
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Invoice processing and uploading into system
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Reconciliation of invoices
- Managing invoice mailbox
- Data entry
**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Officer is essential, as is:
- Experience in all account's functions
- Ability to process 100+ invoices per day is critical
- Administrative and data entry skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**What you'll get in return**
