**About the role**
- Independently working with the approvals, mine planning and site tech service teams to drive our closure requirements across all of MinRes sites
- Estimate, scope, and contribute to cost modelling of required rehabilitation and closure work including driving decision evaluation and identification of best execution pathway to achieve optimum environmental and economic outcomes
- Lead and Manage required research for closure on a range of studies and scientific research projects, including field trials that address knowledge gaps in MinRes Closure Plans
- Oversee the collation and submission of mine closure plans as required
- Lead in the development of business closure standards and procedures

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geoscience or Engineering
- Project management and/or contractor management experience
- Strong experience in mine planning, hydrology, hydrogeology, contaminated sites, environmental risk assessments, geochemical waste characterisation, landform design and evolution
