Our client is a supportive transportation team based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

**Your new role**

The role of Fleet Controller is a vital component of our clients' success. In this role you will be in continual contact with clients, their customers, contractors, chauffeurs and other company offices and licensees. You be self-motivated and support and motivate other team members. You will oversee all aspects of fleet dispatch, dealing directly with contractors, and be continuously monitoring the efficiency and performance of the fleet, and look for ways to improve productivity, and reduce errors.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to Social Responsibility, Environmental and Social Media policies.
- Continually be a role model and uphold the company vision, mission, and values, and promote these aspects daily through all of your interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Always look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with strong attention to detail.

- Communicating with team members, other fleet controllers and customers to optimise service delivery
- Job allocation and monitoring/management
- Be efficient and knowledgeable with the dispatch and reservations screen and be computer-literate
- Answer contractors, chauffeurs, and client queries in a professional and timely manner
- Carefully read booking details off any correspondence and ensure the information is transferred accurately. If the client requires a confirmation, then ensure it is advised in a timely manner
- Ensuring operations are conducted efficiently and safely in accordance with statutory requirements and Equity Transport Group’s policies/procedures
- Improving operational performance
- Overseeing the efficient allocation of assets and resources, maximising productivity and fleet utilisation and exceeding customer expectations
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem-solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company objectives
- Arrange fleet and operational staff to provide support and schedule Special Event Planning.
- Assist the Operations Manager with monitoring and ensuring fleet operation follows regulations.

- Previous experience working in a similar role is a must
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan resources effectively
- Flexible shift work including overnight and weekends
