State Operations Manager - Hands-On Leader Wanted

Shred-X Australia is seeking a State Operations Manager to oversee fleet and depot operations in Victoria and Tasmania. As part of the Freightways Group, one of Australasia's largest logistics companies, we're entering a phase of exciting transformation - and we need a results-focused people leader to help drive it forward.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage a team and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Exceed customer service standards and operational KPIs.
  • Lead state operations across factory and fleet.
  • Identify opportunities and lead through change.
  • Be part of the Senior Leadership and report directly to Shred-X General Manager Operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years in depot/factory/fleet operations.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Change management and execution focus.
  • Strong operational, safety, and cost control mindset.
  • Hands-on and ready to roll up your sleeves.
