**Position Information**:
Rockdale Public School has an enrolment of 368 students including 89% of students from a language background other than English. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach primary library (K-6) or currently undertaking Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education including the Oliver Library Management System.
- Capacity to manage a modern library that will function as an inquiry centre for all students, promoting critical and creative thinking, developing research skills, digital literacy and a love of literature.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver explicit, innovative teaching across different KLAs in a stimulating library learning environment.
- Proven ability to strengthen student engagement in your lessons and build positive relationships with members of the school community.

If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education, which must be completed within 24 months.
