Broker Support Claims Consultant
We are currently looking for an experienced Claims Consultant to join our Broker Claims Support team based in Parramatta. Reporting to the Team Leader this role will see you provide support to the claims staff and to perform other office tasks on the client program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end claims process on behalf of Insured’s including liaising with various stakeholders throughout the claims process and through to claim finalisation
- Acting as the key point of contact between the Insured and Insurer to achieve prompt and positive claim outcomes.
- Liaising with Network Brokers on complex claims
- Utilising embedded processes to identify potential fraud indicators and recovery opportunities relating to a claim
- Preparation of detailed and accurate communications to external parties including formulating declinature and/or settlement recommendations
- Adopting a positive and outcome focused approach to dealing with claimants and being able to identify vulnerable customers and provide appropriate escalation of the same in-line with Sedgwick process
- Maintaining adherence to all SLA and KPI requirements incl. Sedgwick, customer and GICOP principles
- Handling and Resolving complaints where appropriate
- Effectively communicating with all parties involved in the claim process such as Brokers, Insureds, Insurers, Builders and Assessors.
