About the Role
As a Motor Claims Consultant, you will assess and manage a portfolio of motor claims, working closely with a panel of brokers to ensure a smooth process and positive outcome for the policy holder. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your claims expertise, collaborate with industry professionals, and contribute to the overall success of their claim business with the support of an experienced team. This role would suit a strong team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of commercial motor insurance claims through to resolution.
- Building and maintaining strong broker and policy holder relationships, while guiding them through the claim process in an efficient and empathetic manner.
- Effectively assess the validity of each claim, requesting relevant reports and communicating with all relevant parties.
- Processing claims requests within authority levels.
- Ensuring work queues, requests and processes are within service level agreements and adhere to company and industry standards.
Skills and Experience
- Strong motor claims management experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of claims.
- Excellent customer service and administration skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaising with vulnerable customers and display empathy.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
