Line 1 Controls Testing Specialist

As a Line 1 Controls Specialist, you will be partnering directly with stakeholders that form latitude’s largest function “Enterprise Services” ensuring our controls in place are designed successfully and work effectively, guaranteeing our organisation is kept safe.

Let’s look at the responsibilities.
- Reporting of testing results and any recommendations shared with key stakeholders.
- Actively identify and highlight improvement opportunities across controls, processes, and policies (including alignment to regulatory obligations), and working with stakeholders to create and implement changes where required.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Line 1 Risk & Compliance team to complete key team deliverables such as the Risk and Controls Self Attestations
- Play an active and important role to continue enhancing internal processes and tools with the objective to strengthen our overall risk management practices.

You could be a recent accounting, finance, or commerce graduate ready to be part of a fast paced yet fun environment. You could also be experienced within assurance /auditing within the finance / banking sector.
- Previous experience in process improvements and working with stakeholders to implement solutions would be great.
- Be clued-up about all things in Risk and Controls
- Inquisitive nature with a desire to understand different issues, perspectives, and to get the complete picture.
Any work experience within finance is advantageous but our key focus is finding the finest individual to contribute to our diverse culture. We are looking for an energetic, driven team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
