Line 1 Credit Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Line 1 Credit Manager to join Heartland Bank Australia Limited based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia.

Is this your next role?

You will be at the heart of credit decision-making and customer engagement. You're a pro with:

  • Experience in Operational risk and/or compliance within the banking or financial sectors.
  • Knowledge of key regulatory obligations in the financial sector.
  • Experience in Line 1 or Line 2 risk roles, with competency in Risk and control assessments, control testing, and incident management.
  • Designing and executing assurance and control testing programs while navigating regulatory frameworks and internal governance.
  • Exceptional communication both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications/Certification:

  • Tertiary qualification in a business discipline (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Agri clients with tailored financial solutions
  • Extensive experience in credit roles, especially in agricultural finance
