**About the Team**
The **Customer Compliance Performance** team is undergoing significant transformation, creating exciting new opportunities to join at a pivotal time, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact. This team provides specialist compliance expertise to the Customer Business Unit, supporting effective compliance management and ensuring EnergyAustralia’s regulatory obligations, governance systems, processes, and frameworks meet both industry standards and customer expectations. **About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Compliance Performance Team, as a **Controls Testing Specialist**. In this role, you will drive the execution of control testing, ensuring key compliance controls are effective. By analysing evidence, documenting results, and identifying gaps, this role plays a key part in strengthening controls, reporting insights, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes. Other aspects of the role include:

- Execute control testing activities in line with established methodologies and schedules
- Engage with control owners to obtain evidence, clarify control operation, and validate findings
- Analyse evidence gathered in testing process to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls
- Provide input into trends and thematic analysis for broader risk and compliance insights

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in similar internal assurance or controls testing role, with a strong understanding of designing & conducting control testing. Other things we’re keen on include:

- Prior experience working within risk, compliance, internal audit, or similar functions
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance controls
- Demonstrated ability to analyse testing results, identify trends, gaps, or weaknesses, and synthesise findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Organised and detail focussed
