Spare Parts Supply Planner

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Overall inventory responsibilities of parts encompassing stock/demand forecasting, purchasing strategies, item classifications, and production planning and scheduling
- Conduct weekly inventory analysis on sales and/or usage data, customer buying patterns, current supplier lead times, MOQ’s, and safety stock levels to collate relevant data and ensure regular weekly supplier purchase orders are placed
- Build processes to automate SAP (ERP System) minimum stock level alerts to prompt re-ordering requirements.
- Develop and maintain a process to then review periodically these inventory and stock rules, including escalating any issues on potential stock outs, over stocking, or lead time increases to Senior Management
- Ensure parameters and inventory details covering item types, ABC classifications, stock coverage, and reorder/planning policies are correctly setup and maintained within SAP for both new part implementation and current stocked and indent parts
- Prepare, review, and issue suppliers purchase orders for the replenishment of stocked items, indent items, amended or obsolete products, and any other items that arise outside of ERP's Material Requirement Planning reporting system
- Assess new product lines for required parts to create necessary parts codes, place orders. and create a purchase plan as required.
- Manage the forecasting and demand planning for these new products and any additional requirements.
- Manage restricted stocks and resolve issues surrounding the inventory of blocked stock including coordination of write offs.
- Manage regular stock counts on all Spare parts locations including 3PL’s and Vans
- Control Local supplier purchases.
- Assess demands for local supplier, and place order for timely arrival of stock to meet demand.
- SMOG (slow moving obsolete goods) management including generating inventory aging reports.

**Key skills required for the role are as follows**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Spare Parts.
- Experience in using ERP systems.
- Experience with forecasting and projection reporting
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities and the ability to pivot with ease as required
- Proven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organisation, including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast paced and complex environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
