**About the role**

In this exciting opportunity, you will find yourself involved in diverse work and projects. You will join an established and collaborative team responsible for the design and rollout of data governance processes across our Financial Management Group (FMG). Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across FMG and multiple business groups within Macquarie, you’ll utilise your strong communication skills to build relationships while gaining exposure to the wider business.

Working with leaders within the Group Data Office of FMG, you will help identify projects and initiatives that will drive meaningful change and uplift in data quality. Leveraging your communication and networking skills, you will build a stakeholder network and create understanding of the benefits of Data Management. You will be instrumental in the roll-out of data management best practices across the Group, whilst being involved in helping to enable various change management initiatives.

- Provide input in the strategy and project planning for data management implementation across FMG
- Work with stakeholders to understand opportunities where we can work with them to build data management, and help them set up for success
- Work with Macquarie’s Enterprise Data Office to ensure data governance activities are consistently aligned across the enterprise
- Manage FMG Data Governance forums
- Coordinate, improve and drive efficiencies in the team’s MI reporting
- Coordinate audit responses within FMG and across enterprise-wide stakeholders
- Work as the team scrum master, maintaining JIRA workflows across the team

**About you**

This is a Manager-level position, suited to someone with prior experience in data management and/or project coordination roles within financial services institutions. You will have experience in delivering to the above fields, while providing an innovative perspective and relationship driven way of working.

The Financial Management Group provides financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie. The group is focused on providing strategic analysis and advice to Macquarie's businesses and senior management, managing Macquarie's funding, liquidity and capital position, ensuring Macquarie continues to meet regulatory and compliance obligations and managing Macquarie's corporate affairs.
