**The Role**

The primary focus of this role will be required to assist with the successful deployment and continuous improvement of Logistics Operational Systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Implementing the rollout strategy and framework of Logistics Operational Systems to key PFD sites around the country (including Manhattan WMS, PFD WMS and other operations systems)
- Support of site-specific implementation plans; incorporate system configuration, site layout, processes, slotting, labelling requirements
- Development of a WMS training program incorporating user and quick reference guides, assessment and competencies and system Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P’s)
- Identify site super users by function and deliver WMS operator training
- Supporting alternate technology solutions including SCI reporting and other custom projects; including pick path optimisation and warehouse slotting to allow for improved safety outcomes and increased productivity
- Monitoring of the system in order to continuously improve functionality and to troubleshoot problems
- Supporting operational teams in continuous improvement analysis, solution refinement and implementation of optimisation strategies.

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience working with a tier -1 full scale warehouse management system desirable
- A working knowledge of warehouse and distribution functions
- An understanding of distribution demand/supply business processes and implementing functionality and supporting users
- Demonstrated ability to implement new systems and experience in process mapping and gap analysis
- Experience in developing a training needs analysis & training material in both 1 on 1 & classroom environment
- Train the Trainer (Inhouse training program)
- A solid knowledge of OH & S regulations
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to travel when required and support off shift hours and weekends on occasion as required
