As part of Joint Systems, EWIS contributes to the acquisition and support of systems for electronic warfare, command and control, satellites, and guided weapons.
About the Role:
As a Logistics Consultant, you will be supporting key EW projects within EWIS-L SPO delivering and sustaining critical Defence capability in support of Australia's war fighters in executing Defence's mission to defend Australia and its national interests.
You will bring your integrated logistics support expertise to support across the range of EW capability development and delivery activities across the EW program
Key Responsibilities:
You will;
- Ensure complex military systems are fully supported and operational throughout their lifecycle
- Assist the EWIS-L SPO in writing, reviewing and providing ILS advice on documentation delivered by both Industry and Governmental organisation
- Integrate all technical and logistical elements, such as maintenance, supply and training
- Enhance readiness, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Liaise with Defence and non-Defence stakeholders.
- Provide logistics support planning, lifecycle management & technical documentation
- Conduct supply chain coordination & maintenance and reliability analysis
What we would like from you:
- Experience in Procurement and contracting
- Experience in Inventory/Asset management
- Experience in Support System Analysis of Acquisition Projects
- Experience in Spares analysis and management
- Ability to draft or update ILS documents
- Experience in Defence contracting using ASDEFCON principles
- Understanding of Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) concepts
- Experience using MILIS/SAP
- Current NV2 AGSVA clearance OR ability to gain an NV2 security clearance.
