**About the Role**:
Government department are seeking an experienced content developer for social media to provide insights and join the team. This role will intake consulting with the digital marketing coordinator. You will implement social media platforms to stimulate conversation with new and existing audiences. You will also be responsible communication and engagement on Council's social media platforms according to Council's social media policy and moderation guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consult with the digital marketing coordinator, plan and implement Council's digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms and profiles to support the branch's objectives.
- Expand the size, reach and engagement of the Council's social media communities through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships.
- Create, source, edit and curate creative and engaging content for council's social media platforms. This will include building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in the community.
- Report on performance and analytics of each campaign and platform.
- Monitor and respond to Council's social media platforms to stimulate conversation with new and existing audiences. Moderate communication and engagement on Council's social media platforms according to Council's social media policy and moderation guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in developing and implementing integrated digital marketing content across a broad range of channels in line with an overall Digital Marketing and Marketing strategy.
- Excellent knowledge and recent hands-on experience - Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Business Suite, Tweeter Ads etc.
- Knowledge in a similar position within a digital agency would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Data analytics experience along with a good eye for detail
