**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As Head of Operations and Logistics, you’ll join a rapidly growing team tasked with managing the Operations team and ensuring that sound financial management and effective technology and operational processes are in place across the business.

Reporting into and supported by the General Manager, the Head of Operations and Logistics will manage a team of up to 10 people, you will need to thrive in a fast paced, high performance and productive environment to enhance and drive the systems we have developed to be the best in the industry.

The perfect role for someone who is hands on and has an eye for detail, the Head of Operations and Logistics will be an integral part of the company's Leadership Team, and work closely with our Head of Styling to deliver an exceptional result for our clients.

**Key Areas Of Responsibility**:
Leadership and Management Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Operations Team, which consists of the our Customer Service, Logistics and Warehouse Teams
- Demonstrate strong delegation and management skills to keep all members of the team on track
- Ensure that every member of the Operations Team are kept accountable to their specific roles and responsibilities
- Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relative company functions are kept informed of operation objectives
- Weekly analysis of scorecard measurables of the Warehouse and Logistics team to ensure we are on track to achieve company targets
- Develop and implement a personal training plan for each member of the Operations team.
- Deliver feedback in group and one-on-one forums around performance, attitude, mindset and overall values alignment
- Maintain team morale and the culture within the Operations Team, hold group catchup meetings and promote a happy positive environment.
- Ensure a professional, productive, safe and healthy work environment, as well as compliance with OHS and other governmental regulations
- Assist with the set up and manage all operational tasks associated with the company's shop.

Operations, Inventory, Warehouse & Logistics Responsibilities:

- Warehouse - Ensure the warehouses are kept in a tidy manner, ensure safe practices for all staff and stock are adhered to at all times.
- Vehicles - Manage and maintain all company vehicles.
- Organise repairs and ensure all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
- Inventory - Create systems to ensure the Logistics team are packing and unpacking furniture, art and décor correctly, both in the warehouse and onsite.
- Ensuring furniture needing repair is done with a quick turn around.
- Ensure all furniture used at an install is in good working order and not damaged / chipped in any way. Always maintaining the highest quality in our work.
- Internal Calendar System - Managing job allocations, stock rotations, fix ups, stock transfers
- IT / Systems - Ensure the ongoing improvement of the day-to-day operations of the business with a focus on infrastructure, processes, technology and systems, some of these include but are not limited to: Ipads, computers, laptops, clock on system, truck trackers, petrol cards, toll accounts
- Implement and Manage an effective Inventory Management system
- Leverage and improve upon the existing Hubspot platform and drive operational excellence through training and development
- Clients and Suppliers - Where necessary, deal with clients and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority through the Logistics team.
- Projects - Support the install team with their technology and project requirements,
- Manage all key projects within the business, manage internal project management systems, delegate and complete tasks as required.

Who We’re Looking For:

- 3+ years experience in Warehousing, Operations and/or Inventory Management
- Proven experience of effectively leading a team of 5-10 people
- Be excited by driving professional and personal development of team members
- Is operationally minded and understands the importance of systemising the business to achieve optimal results
