**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Australia Surgical Innovations sales team. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Hernia Care and Advanced Surgical Technologies portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within Newcastle, New England and Mid-North Coast regions. **A Day in the Life
**As a Territory Manager reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will:
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer
- Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
**Must Have**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline is essential
- Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices
- Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
- Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results
