- Manage a small, but growing team

No two projects are the same, the Building and Construction Waterproofing industry is fast paced and may have lots of projects on the go at any one time so we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager.

The projects can go from $10,000 to $3 million or above. This role is a critical conduit between the Leadership team and getting the NSW projects completed while maintaining the GP, developing the team and the reputation of the business.

Our client started from one small office, now they have over 100 employees, and they have become a trusted expert in concrete flooring solutions in commercial and civil construction, nationally. Their focus is on future growth; to allow this, they seek a new Construction Manager to join their team.

**Key tasks include**:

- Supervision and day to day management of theNSW branch, this includes:

- 3 Project Manager's (2 senior and 1 junior)
- Estimator
- Contract Administrator
- Sales Assistant
- Be responsible for and reporting GP & Sales - weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- NSW Construction Manager will be held accountable for the GP and Sales results of the NSW operations.
- Troubleshooting technical issues with waterproofing and epoxy projects.
- Troubleshooting day to day operational issues associated with a contracting business (site labour, materials, material handling, hire equipment)
- Board Report for NSW quarterly
- A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations and WHSE regulations
- Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card
- Hold a valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network
- Able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer service

**Essential**:

- Able to demonstrate experience within the Waterproofing / Epoxy and/or sheet membrane industry.
- Proven Construction Management skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage Client relationships.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong administration skills, understand reports
