**About the role**
We have a fabulous part time opportunity to join our team in Mount Druitt, NSW, as our new Maintenance Planner. You will be part of our busy Maintenance Team who are responsible for provision of best practice support and customer service across the Production and Maintenance departments.
You will look after the creation of Maintenance Schedules and Plans to support the Sites execution of achieving optimal equipment up time. You will develop maintenance plans in partnership with production to achieve optimal equipment up time with available resources. This role is a key driver for identifying and delivering change initiatives and solutions in planning and scheduling activities. There’s also support of the Maintenance Team in real time delivery of production plan via shift engineering support.
**Responsibilities**
- Initiate and implement process and routines to continually improve the maintenance function.
- Ensure effective use and continued development of the CMMS System (MEX).
- Liaise with parts suppliers to obtain quotes and lead times ensure maintenance activities are effectively and efficiently planned, managed and delivered to meet business requirements.
- Supports the Maintenance Team in the planning of Operational Shutdowns.
- Develop longer term plans aimed at smoothing the maintenance load across the year.

**Skills & Experience**
- Basic manufacturing process knowledge and experience desirable
- Strong communication skills with ability to motivate
- Has strong knowledge of maintenance systems and processes, with technical know-how.
- An ability to consistently achieve results and deliver on promises (do what they say they will)
