Job Opportunity: Mechanical Maintainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to perform routine and breakdown maintenance activities in the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of the CHPP.
  • Complete allocated preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues to meet production targets and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including production and safety improvements.
  • Step-up into supervisor and/or planner roles as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in CHPP or heavy industry maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills to share knowledge with colleagues and assist the team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Industry-relevant qualifications, including High Risk licenses.
  • Sound computer literacy, preferably with SAP system knowledge.
  • Experience supervising and/or planning.
