Our successful and continuously growing Public Practice client based in St Kilda is seeking an Administration Officer with extensive administration experience from any industry. We are looking for a long term hire to work cohesively and manage all the administration needs of the business with a bright and professional attitude. Your efforts will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary of $80,000 - $85,000 + Super (commensurate of experience) and a friendly team environment within a modern office environment.
**THE ROLE**:
As an Administration Officer within the office, the successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out all office administration, assisting Accountants and the Managing Partner of the business wherever necessary, and completing daily assigned tasks. Prioritising tasks is essential and following directions regarding the importance of specific tasks is a crucial skill in the role.
The successful applicant will be positive, motivated, honest, have excellent time management and prioritising skills, and be a team player.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- General office administration
- Setting up new files
- Filing paperwork
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Data entry
- Various administrative tasks
**To be considered, you must have/be**:
- At least 4-5 years experience in an Admin role
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
- Be able to work in the office
- Have strong PC/Software skills
- Present professionally
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable with working autonomously along with being an integral part of the extended team
- Self-starter with a keen desire for continuous learning.
