Home Sweet Home is a family business, a leading Australian Furniture Retailer.

Are you looking for a new challenge within a team that supports growth and development?

The role of Stock Controller is to operate as a key link between Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse functions. This will involve monitoring stock levels, movements, locations and a strategic use of space and processes. The aim of the role is to continually reduce the number of stock losses, write offs and customer/supplier stock queries year on year.

The individual will need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated. They should also process strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for detail.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Book in & dispatch stock
- Manage internal transfers
- Stocktake and stock adjustment
- Check supplier invoices (qty, price) and send invoices to accounts dept
- Damaged stock/ return stock management
- Manage stock delivery & container booking
- Manage container list
- Analyse product performance & replenish stock

As with all roles, your responsibilities may change over time depending on the needs of the business and the above list is not exhaustive.

- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience of managing stock levels.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Smeaton Grange NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)
